In the RGB+C image, chronic small vessel ischemic white matter disease is depicted in green-blue, reflecting increased T2 (blue) and FLAIR (green) signal, with minimal T1 (red) contribution. The abnormally thickened and contrast-enhanced dura is white.

Color-encoded MR images of 66-year-old man with persistent headaches. Chronic extensive thickening and enhancement of the meninges in supra- and infratentorial regions are consistent with pachymeningitis. Additional scattered ischemic white matter changes (green-blue) are seen.
