Primary Mediastinal Seminoma

1. Primary mediastinal seminoma is a rare but recognized entity.

2. Proper management consists of:

a) documentation of primary status and extent

b) surgical excision for diagnosis and debulking

c) postoperative irradiation to the primary site and regional lymphatics.

3. Local control can be anticipated.
